Plumbers and Plumbing Services in MalboroughMalborough
Marlborough has a population of 8,009 inhabitants, and is a small market town in the county of Wiltshire the town is situated on the Old Bath Road between London and Bath which is now the A4. At the start of the Roman Occupation, the Romans inhabited nearby Mildenhall. After the Romans were recalled, the Saxons grew up around the Green, and two small river crossings were made at Isbury Lane and Stonebridge Lane. In 1067 William 1st built a castle based on the Motte and Bailey design first made from wood but was later updated with stone in 1175, however the Castle fell into decay by the end of the 14th century but remained the property of The Crown. On April 28th 1653 The Great Fire of Marlborough burnt two hundred and fifty houses to the ground. The Fire burnt its way through the Town in 1679 and again in 1690. At This time an Act of Parliament was agreed "To prohibit the covering of houses and other buildings with thatch in the Town of Marlborough". There are also a number of reputable plumbing firms operating in and around Marlborough which have the CORGI register certificate.
