Plumbers can now rest easy, safe in the knowledge that Kopex International has extended its product range to include the Pipesight, which makes aligning pipes in radiators that much more simple.
The product has been designed to be used with 15mm and 22mm diameter radiator pipes. With 15mm pipes, the plumber can easily connect the knurled end of the Pipesight to the threaded end.
It is then screwed until finger tight and the laser activates within two turns. The Pipesight is unscrewed and a hole can be drilled in the correct position to align the copper pipe.
When using 22mm pipe, the nylon adaptor is screwed on so that the thread faces out. As with the 15mm pipe, the laser activates after a two turns and the same marking and drilling process can be carried out.
Pipesight comes with four button cell LR 41 batteries, which can perform around 2500 operations, and a detailed instruction manual.
